How Fonitix works for real estate agents

Fonitix asks the right questions, books showings with the right agent and sends offer deadlines straight to the agent on duty. It never describes neighbourhoods or gives price advice.

What the agent does

  • Saves each request with the details your team needs and marks urgent ones.
  • Books leads into free times in your calendar.
  • Answers questions about your listings, prices and hours using your own answers.
  • Speaks as your assistant, in the words of your business.

What you tell Fonitix

A few questions when you set up, so the agent knows your business:

  • Which areas do you serve?
  • How many agents take showings?
  • Phone number of the agent on duty for offers and showing problems
  • How much notice do you need for a showing?

An example call

CallerI saw the house on Oak Street. Can I see it?
FonitixOf course. Are you buying or renting, and are you already working with an agent?
CallerBuying, no agent yet.
FonitixThank you. I can book a showing with Sam on Saturday at 10 or 11:30. Which suits you?

An example of the kind of call it handles. Your agent uses your own services, prices and hours.

What you get in your dashboard

  • A calendar with your team and services
  • An online booking page
  • A work board with stages that match your trade
  • A card for every customer, with their calls and visits
  • Intake forms and documents
  • Reminders by text or email
  • Urgent calls marked and brought to your attention
  • Your own answers, which the agent uses on calls

What the agent will not do

  • Give legal or financial advice: it collects the facts, books a visit or a call, and hands the case to a person.
  • Take a card number over the phone: it sends a secure payment link instead.
  • Make up prices, times or promises: it uses only what you have given it, and takes a message when it does not know.

Set up in four steps

  1. Choose real estate agents when you sign up, so Fonitix uses the right words for your agency.
  2. Check the example listings and answer a few questions about your business.
  3. Get your own phone number for the agent and make a test call.
  4. Share the number. Calls turn into showings in your dashboard.
